At spinalsolutions we have the greatest respect for dance and performance,and that which is 'performed' both those considered disabled as well as able. We are amazed at the capabilities of everyone from this field who we treat additionally we beleive that the skills relating to performance can be used theraputically .  The components of movement and expression that create performance allow us to reach within and connect to a playful mind and body seeking to just 'express'.  Additionally observing and listening to performance allows the artist to reach an audience and perhaps act as a kind of advocate in expressing feelings we find difficult to reach. We value the contribution the 'arts'make to life as a whole and we are privileged to support this with our treatment approaches.  Our ambition is to provide treatment that fully appreciates the kaliedescope of experience encapsulated with the process of performance, we aim to do this with further links with professionals and our own continuing professional education.

'spinalsolutions' aims to work as a team member of local musculoskeletal  specialists in the West Midlands   working in the field of performance related injuries.   This allows the performer to access Osteopathy,Physiotherapy, Acupuncture and Deep Tissue massage as part of their needs.  Osteopathy and some of the treatments mentioned above are completed on site.  Some treatments are completed in other locations in the West Midlands, this taken into consideration when arranging booking.  Treatment is expected to follow predictable outcomes in relation to the type and location of the injury  spinalsolutions and the other specilaists mentioned work to not just get you well but for you to become your own 'specialist' as regards looking after your injuries and adjust 'practice' to perhaps prevent other injuries.  You can be assured that every practitioner you see within or outside of the practice has no less than 14 years experience, and has achieved a level of local recognition in relation to the treatment of musculoskeltal dysfunction. At times it may be that the problem needs even more specialised help than we are able to offer we then may refer you to Sharon Morrison a physiotherapist working in this field (01213233281) , who has national recognition for performance related injuries.  Through experience we identify the need for a 'triage' approach so that the scope of problems treated is as wide as possible in the shortest time.

' Performance injuries'  relate to injuries sustained by musicians, dancers, martial artists and actors,performance gymnasts, acrobats, sychronised swimmers this list is by no means exhaustive.
